XTROBB PAINT CLEANING CLAY

  • APPLICATION OF CLAY - claying the paint is the penultimate stage of washing the car. First, check if this procedure is necessary? Run your hand over the washed and dried bodywork. The resistance of the coating indicates contamination. After the claying procedure, the paint surface will change from rough to smooth.
  • CLAY FOR SPECIAL TASKS - it is perfect for cleaning the bodywork from dirt that cannot be removed during standard washing. The clay is designed to remove dirt such as: tar, tree sap, road dust, etc. Claying thoroughly cleans the paint from dirt trapped in its micro-cracks.
  • EASY TO USE - how to use clay? it's simple. Break off a piece of clay and form a flat disk with it in your hands. Remember, the paint surface should be previously washed with car shampoo. Use clay in combination with water and car shampoo. Sprinkle the paint surface with the liquid, then wipe with clay to remove dirt. When the clay collects a lot of dirt, knead the dirty surface inwards and shape a flat disk again. If the surface is smooth, it means that it is free from dirt.

WARNING CONTENT:

- Before using the clay bar, wash your car thoroughly to remove any loose dirt.
- Always use car shampoo when working with clay. The clay should slide smoothly over the surface without friction.
- Divide the clay into smaller pieces (e.g. 2–4), which makes it easier to use and prevents wastage of material if one part gets dirty.
- Move the clay in straight, parallel movements, no circular motions. Avoid pressing the clay hard.
- If you feel resistance, add more car shampoo.
- Check the clay regularly for dirt. If the surface of the clay is dirty, knead it to expose a clean area or replace it with a new part.
- Do not use the clay if it is heavily contaminated (e.g. with sand) as this may scratch the paint.
- Store the clay in a closed container or foil so that it does not dry out and does not collect contaminants from the environment.
- Avoid working with clay on hot paint or in full sunlight.
